About Richlify
Money decisions deserve maths you can trust.
Richlify is a suite of financial planning calculators for households in India. Each one shows its assumptions, accounts for inflation and taxes where they matter, and is checked line by line before it goes live.

01 Why we exist
The problem
Most people make their biggest money decisions with a rough number. How much to save for retirement, what a loan really costs, whether a portfolio has drifted off target: these get settled with a guess, or with a calculator that returns one figure and hides how it got there.
Small gaps in those figures compound over twenty or thirty years.
Our answer
Richlify turns each of those decisions into a planner you can question. You enter your own numbers, see every assumption, change any of them, and follow the result year by year.
Nothing is rounded away to make the answer look better.
02 What we build
Twelve calculators, covering the decisions that shape a household's finances.
03 Our method
How every calculator earns its place.
- 1
Modelled in a spreadsheet first
Every tool starts as a full working model, so each formula can be read, traced and challenged before any screen is designed.
- 2
Recalculated independently
Worked examples are recomputed from scratch and compared with the tool's output. Mismatches are fixed before release.
- 3
Tested at the edges
Zero growth, a corpus that runs out early, a withdrawal larger than the asset. Awkward inputs are where calculators go quietly wrong, so we test them on purpose.
- 4
Built around Indian rules
Amounts in lakhs and crores, GST on purchases and fees, and the tax rules that apply to Indian investors, worked into the maths and not left as a footnote.
04 What we stand for
Accuracy before polish
A good-looking calculator with a wrong answer is worse than none. The numbers are settled first; the design follows.
Assumptions in the open
Return rates, inflation, tax and timing conventions are shown and editable. If you disagree with a default, change it.
No advice, no recommendations
We do not recommend funds, stocks, lenders or insurers. Richlify gives you the numbers; the decision stays with you.
Plain language
Every input and result is labelled in words a first-time planner can follow, with the finance terms explained beside them.
05 Who is behind Richlify
[FOUNDER NAME]
Highlighted items in square brackets are placeholders to be completed before publication.
[FOUNDER NAME] holds a Master of Computer Applications and has spent more than 20 years as a business architect and analyst on technology programmes for global banks, payments companies, telecom and healthcare organisations. His work has covered retail mortgage servicing, real-time payments, card management, commercial lending and investment asset management, including systems for portfolio valuation and NAV calculation.
The common thread in that work is turning complicated financial rules into systems that produce the right answer every time. Richlify applies the same discipline to household finance. It began as a set of spreadsheet models he built and refined, and is now a web app.
