Projections are estimates, not forecasts

Every output depends on the assumptions you enter. Return, inflation, fee-growth and gold-appreciation rates are inputs, not predictions. Actual returns vary, arrive unevenly, and can be negative for long periods.

A plan that succeeds under smooth returns can fail under a realistic sequence of returns - the risk of a poor first decade is real and our calculators generally assume it away. Past performance does not indicate future results.

Tax figures are indicative

Tax outputs are simplified estimates. Actual capital gains tax depends on fund type, holding period, available exemptions and your personal position, and rates change with each Finance Act. Tax figures are not deducted from projected balances. Confirm your position with a qualified tax professional.
